What to Expect at Five Stones Kids

We know what a huge deal it is to trust someone with your kids. We believe kids and students matter to God. So, we’re passionate about creating engaging and creative environments that bring the Bible to life and show kids their part in the Gospel story.

Let’s take a look at what you can expect when you visit us!

Checking In

When you arrive at our church, you’ll start by checking in at our Five Stones Kids booth. Our amazing Dream Team will be there to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have. The whole check-in process takes about five minutes. For future visits, this process becomes much quicker!

Classrooms and Age Groups

Once you’ve checked in, our Dream Team will show you to the appropriate classrooms. Each classroom is designed to be safe, engaging, and age-appropriate. We have separate environments for different age groups, each with tailored curriculum and activities:

  • Pebbles Classroom (0-3 years)

  • Rocks Classroom (3 years - Kindergarten)

  • Stones Classroom (1st-5th Grade)

Engaging Curriculum

We believe disciples are first and foremost learners. Throughout our content on the weekend there are seven foundational truths that we want kids to understand:

1. You can trust God’s Word
2. God created everything.
3. God is good.
4. Jesus came to save sinners.
5. The Church is God’s family.
6. You were made to become like Jesus.
7. God’s Spirit lives inside of you.

Every week in Five Stones Kids, our team brings these truths and the Bible to life through a variety of activities like Bible stories, games, and singing and dancing.

Safety and Security

We take the safety of your child very seriously. Here are some of the measures we have in place to ensure your child’s well-being:

  • Background Checks and Training

Every Kids Team Dream Teamer at our church undergoes a thorough background check before they are allowed to serve in any of our kids’ classes. This process helps us ensure that all individuals interacting with your children are trustworthy and have a clean record. Additionally, our volunteers receive comprehensive training designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain a safe and positive environment for all children.

  • Security Presence

We have a dedicated security team present at all times. These trained professionals are vigilant and ready to address any safety concerns that may arise. Their presence helps create a secure atmosphere, allowing both children and parents to feel at ease.

  • Two-Adult Bathroom Policy

To further safeguard your children, we adhere to a strict two-adult bathroom policy. This means that no child is ever alone with an adult in the bathroom.
