KID STEPS

Kid Steps is our four step journey in partnering with parents as children are beginning to wonder about God and His love for them. In these steps, your family will be able to explore asking a lot of questions about Jesus. Questions that you may struggle with yourself, or questions that may not have a simple answer, but that’s okay! We’ll walk through salvation, baptism, and what to do as a Christian for the rest of their life!

Ask Questions

Step One

Step One is an opportunity for your child to ask any questions they have about their faith. This is an exciting time in a kid’s life. They’re starting to ask questions about their faith. They’re wondering about God and His love for them. Questions that you may struggle with yourself, or questions that may not have a simple answer, but that’s okay. This is a starting point for your kid to begin a life-long conversation about faith. That’s why we want you to “start here” with our Salvation Guide!

Start a Relationship with Jesus

Step Two

In Step Two we’ll dive into the details of walking your child through Salvation! This milestone is exciting! And we want to help equip you to make the most of them. Use this page for a tool to help you navigate the conversation about Salvation with your child. You child should’ve received this card and sticker in service as well!

Be Baptized

Step Three

Step Three is where we want to partner with you to help you determine when your child is ready for baptism. The KidSteps Workshop is a tool we use to help. We discuss salvation and the purpose of baptism in an age-appropriate way! Once your child has received Jesus to be their Lord and Savior, our team will reach out with steps on baptism, you can contact our team at kids@fivestonesfamily.com

Spend Time with God

Step Four

In Step Four children that have been baptized will be mailed a small index card booklet called the 7 Day Start. You might be thinking, start what? Well, that’s a great question! The 7 Day Start is a way for us to choose to learn more about how to grow in a relationship with Jesus as the starting point of a lifelong journey!
